On one of the properties that is adjacent to ours a new colt recently arrived. I went out for a mommy-baby-photo-shoot...quite appropriate for today if I do say so.
The husband and I agreed that these pictures do really capture the true meaning of Mother's Day...a mother truly nutures her baby the way no one else can. Watching this horse and her colt is a very sweet reminder of the sacrifice that mothers make and how they do it with pure devotion and love.
We were very busy today...the end result of a long day's work is that the chicks are at last in their coop...no longer sharing a "bedroom" with Bambino. I'm sure he'll be glad to see his little sisters out of his kennel finally.
So tomorrow my post will be a celebratory coop grand opening!
